Global Advisory Firm Wachsman Marks 10th Year in Business with Three Strategic Appointments and a Bold New Identity

Celebrating a decade of growth, Wachsman introduces key appointments and a refreshed brand to shape what’s next

NEW YORK, February 18, 2025 — Wachsman, a global strategic communications advisory firm, announces three senior international appointments alongside a new brand identity, marking a new milestone in its 10-year journey.

Founded in 2015 in New York to support businesses in the bitcoin and blockchain industry, Wachsman has since become a trusted advisor to clients embracing the most sophisticated emerging technologies, including companies in AI, financial services, and venture capital. With presences in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Miami, New York, Dublin, London, Geneva, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and South Korea, the firm remains at the forefront of an evolving landscape, offering strategic counsel at a time of both opportunity and complexity.

To help drive its next phase of growth, Wachsman has appointed three senior leaders to key international roles. Pranav Rastogi, formerly Head of Communications at Grow Asia and Managing Director at Redhill, joins as Executive Director and Head of Singapore, where he will broaden Wachsman’s presence and expand its footprint in the APAC market. Leveraging his expertise in agency expansion and reputation management across diverse sectors, Rastogi will be a key force in accelerating the firm’s growth in the world’s most populous region.

In addition, Wachsman continues to enhance its U.S. leadership team by welcoming two seasoned public relations professionals with deep expertise in technology, finance, and emerging industries. Greg Jawski, a veteran PR agency leader, joins Wachsman as Head of New York. Jawski’s extensive experience spans key roles at FTI Consulting, Ogilvy, Porter Novelli, Fleishman-Hillard, and most recently as Executive Vice President at Allison Worldwide, where he led corporate communications, financial services, and digital assets for its North American operations. With over 22 years of experience in global communications and reputation management, Jawski will further strengthen Wachsman’s corporate advisory and strategic communications offerings.

Meanwhile, public relations leader Jesse Platz rejoins Wachsman as Director after first joining the firm in 2016, where he played a critical role in scaling the growth of its U.S. office. During his initial tenure at the firm, Platz led communications for many of the highest profile companies in the crypto industry and helped generate iconic campaigns for what were then burgeoning brands. Since then, he has served in senior roles at Edelman, Amazon, and Semrush, providing him with deep expertise in multiple advanced technology sectors. Platz will further enhance Wachsman’s ability to deliver cutting-edge counsel to clients navigating today’s rapidly evolving landscape.

“Over the past decade, Wachsman has cemented its position as a trusted advisor to some of the most innovative companies in the world, helping them navigate the complexities of rapidly evolving industries,” said David Wachsman, Founder and Chief Executive of Wachsman. “Reaching our 10th year in business is a testament to the in-depth expertise of our incredible team. We are thrilled to welcome Pranav, Greg, and Jesse. Their deep experience in leading corporate communications for major corporations, coupled with their extensive connections and strategic insight, will prove invaluable as we strengthen our position as the preeminent global firm in the emerging technology, financial services, and cryptocurrency spaces.”

These updates follow the appointment of Karen Clyne, a seasoned corporate communications executive with senior leadership experience at BCW, BlackBerry, and MWWPR, as Head of America in late 2024, further solidifying Wachsman’s position as a trusted counselor for companies operating at the vanguard of innovation and transformation.

In conjunction with its 10th anniversary, Wachsman has introduced a refreshed global brand, modernizing its visual identity to position itself for the next decade of growth.

“Our brand is a reflection of who we are—bold, fearless, and driven by creativity,” added David Wachsman. “We bring a deep understanding of the industries we serve, ensuring that our clients’ voices are fully empowered and amplified. Through our team’s insights and innovative thinking, Wachsman helps bring our clients’ visions to life.”
