David Wachsman is a world-renowned blockchain expert and thought leader. He is a regular speaker at the most visible technology conferences and is frequently featured by premier media outlets globally.

Four months after joining Wachsman in early 2016, Emma was named one of FinanceFeeds “30 Under 30: the Industry’s Future Leaders” and rapidly became a globally-acknowledged expert in blockchain public relations. In 2017, Emma launched Wachsman’s Irish office, growing the team to more than 20 employees. Today, Wachsman’s Dublin office is the fastest-growing PR agency in Ireland.

Emma holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Sociology from Trinity College, Dublin and a postgraduate diploma in Public Relations and Event Management from Fitzwilliam Institute. Before joining Wachsman, Emma served in roles of increasing responsibility at some of the most prestigious public relations agencies in Ireland.
After graduating with distinction from one of Australia’s top journalism schools, Jesse began his professional career as a television broadcaster with the WIN News Corporation, reporting and presenting on politics, sport, environment, business, technology, and current affairs. After a three-year tenure, Jesse transitioned to public relations, joining the Australian Army Officer Corps.
As a Lieutenant, Jesse’s responsibilities included generating positive press for the Australian Army, Air Force, and Navy, providing communications advice to soldiers and officers in barracks and on exercise, as well as leading military camera teams on domestic and international assignments. From 2009 to 2014, Jesse became the primary PR point of contact for the Australian Army on several operational deployments to Afghanistan, East Timor, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Burma, overseeing the gathering of video content and imagery for civilian media consumption and public distribution. In 2011, Jesse was fast-tracked and promoted to Captain. On his third and final deployment to Afghanistan, Jesse was awarded a Chief of Defence Force Operational Commendation for exemplary performance overseas, with particular focus on the way he told the story of the Coalition’s efforts against the Taliban in the southern provinces, the war torn nation’s challenging path to peace, and the local population’s growing support for military intervention.
In 2015, Jesse was posted to Australia’s capital city, Canberra, to train officers and soldiers on the power of public relations, media awareness, crisis communications, media interview preparation, and social media. Later that year, Jesse completed his Major’s promotion course. He moved to the United States and began working for Wachsman in March 2016.
Originally from Australia, Amy started her career as a Communications and Marketing Manager at a Sydney-based IT consultancy. She then moved agency-side to provide press and analyst relations support, and social media management to enterprise technology and financial services clients.
In January 2017, Amy moved to New York City to join the team at Wachsman. Having successfully architected and led numerous public relations campaigns for high-profile blockchain projects, Amy was promoted to the role of Director to oversee the communications strategies and manage the execution of multiple public relations teams. Her specialities include crisis communications, media relations, analyst relations, strategic counsel, and copywriting.
Amy holds a Master of Arts in Communications Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Journalism), and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (Italian) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Michael leads the Wachsman Strategic Advisory Group in New York.
Michael brings over a decade of investment banking experience advising Fortune 100 corporations, private equity sponsors, family offices, and venture capital investors. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Jefferies. He founded and led the Jefferies blockchain coverage effort, where he developed and executed strategies for clients including technology companies, institutional investors, and emerging blockchain companies.
Prior to Jefferies, Michael was a Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Vice President at Citigroup, where he collectively advised on over US$40 billion in M&A and capital raising transactions.
Michael received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Honors of Highest Distinction from University of California, San Diego and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, where he was a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow.
Franklin is Associate Director of the Wachsman Strategic Advisory Group.
Franklin brings seven years of industry expertise to the company, most recently as Vice President and Blockchain Strategy Lead for J.P. Morgan’s Blockchain Center for Excellence. There, he pioneered J.P. Morgan’s initial assessment of blockchain technology in 2015, co-authored the J.P. Morgan report, “Unlocking Economic Advantage with Blockchain: A guide for asset managers,” and played a role in key initiatives such as J.P. Morgan’s Quorum project, crypto-asset strategy, and consortia engagement. Previously, he worked on corporate strategy and business development for J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank, executing on high-priority growth initiatives with senior executives across a range of products and functions.
Prior to his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Franklin served as an Investment Analyst for ff Venture Capital, a top-performing seed- and early-stage venture capital firm located in New York City.
Franklin received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Garrett has had a wide range of experience across business development, growth strategy, and corporate operations. He started his career as a Project Manager for an NGO in South Africa, then moved to Hong Kong to develop new business in China for a commodity food trader. He then returned to the United States to run the operations for meal-delivery service Farmivore. Before joining Wachsman, Garrett was the Director of Operations for the global music streaming service Yonder Music.
Garrett earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA.
Alex joined Wachsman in July 2017. Prior to Wachsman, she worked as a Content Manager for a Dublin-based agency, managing several campaigns for international organizations. She conducted training for a range of B2B and B2C clients in the areas of social media, content creation, and media training. Alex’s specialities are media relations, content creation, and media training.
Alex studied Journalism and Economics at the University of Limerick and has contributed to a number of publications, including working as an online journalist for Industry and Business Magazine.
While at university, Alex volunteered with Limerick’s Gateway to Education, a program that partners university students with children from disadvantaged areas to mentor and encourage them to understand the importance of secondary and tertiary studies.
Nicole joined Wachsman in August 2017. Spanning consumer products, enterprise software, video game technology, and media, Nicole has led public relations teams for a variety of venture-backed technology startups. Previous clients include Casper, Disney Interactive, Medium, Livestream, Foursquare, and SEGA.
Nicole is passionate about telling her clients’ stories and showing how their innovations are relevant to their key stakeholders. She has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic PR plans that generate frequent, top-tier press coverage.
Nicole graduated magna cum laude from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Journalism.
Gaby joined Wachsman in October 2017. Gaby’s expertise lies in corporate communications, executive visibility, media relations, product launches, and content development.
Gaby’s experience spans across the financial sector, including investment banking, insurance, financial advisors, portfolio management, economics, personal finance, trade technology, FX, and brokerage. Previous clients have included Nestlé USA, Overstock.com and tZERO, Charles Schwab, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Chubb Insurance, Fidelity Investments, Western Union Business Solutions, Cracker Barrel, Jefferson National, AST (previously known as American Stock Transfer & Trust), and institutional finance research exchange Street Contxt.
Originally from Hong Kong, Gaby grew up in Toronto. Gaby obtained a bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from Queen’s University in Canada and a Master of Science in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University.
Lucinda joined Wachsman in October 2017. With a background in corporate communications, Lucinda has worked with clients ranging from global financial services giants to fintech startups, helping build brands in crowded markets, shape strategic narratives, and mitigate reputational risk. Previous clients include Coca-Cola and AON.
Originally from Australia, Lucinda began her career at a boutique corporate public relations firm, before joining the Sydney office of international communications consultancy Hill+Knowlton. She then led a corporate affairs team at Haystac and held a communications role within a government department before making the move to New York City in September 2017. Lucinda’s specialties are crisis communication, copywriting, social media management, and campaign strategy.
Lucinda holds a Master of International Law and International Relations, and a Bachelor of Media in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of New South Wales.
Liam joined Wachsman in October 2017 after serving as an Adviser to the European Commission’s Director of Strategy and Corporate Communication in Brussels. His duties included speechwriting and crafting the European Commission’s first centralized communications campaign aimed at tackling fake news and disinformation.
Liam has also worked as a Policy Adviser at the U.K. Cabinet Office, providing support to the Office of the Prime Minister and managing the relationship between the Cabinet and several government departments in the policies surrounding transparency, accountability, and open data. Prior to joining the Cabinet Office, Liam worked for a group that represented an independent coalition of FTSE 100 CEOs and Chairman, advocating for the continued membership and positive reform of the European Union.
Liam is a graduate of the Washington Ireland Program, part of which included a work placement in the office of Representative Patrick J. Kennedy II in the U.S. Congress.
Liam holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Trinity College, Dublin and a Master of Science in Politics and Communication from The London School of Economics, having graduated with distinction.
Matt joined Wachsman in February 2018 with several years of experience in cybersecurity, corporate, and B2B public relations. His former clients include Dow Chemical, NRG Energy, Heartland Payment Systems, Waratek, and Lacework. In previous roles, Matt helped design and manage brand storytelling campaigns, supported company launches, and led media relations activities resulting in extensive national, local, and trade press coverage.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from Penn State University. After college, he worked in television production before transitioning to public relations.
Sharmin joined Wachsman in March 2018. Prior to joining Wachsman, Sharmin was an Account Manager at multi award-winning London communications agency Battenhall, where she worked with some of the world’s most respected brands including Google, Intel, TD Direct Investing, Pearson, and Newsweek. She also worked on a pro bono basis for Clare Rewcastle Brown, 1MDB scandal whistleblower and sister-in-law of former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and the coalition for clean and fair elections BERSIH, where she coordinated international media efforts to raise awareness of the scandal and push for a reform of the electoral process in Malaysia.
Upon graduating, Sharmin was a Freelance Interpreter at the Yarl’s Wood Immigration Detention Centre in Bedford, interpreting for Malay-speaking refugees and asylum seekers in Britain during solicitor consultations and Home Office meetings.
Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Sharmin has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations (Politics) and German from the University of Westminster in London, having graduated with distinction.
Tom joined Wachsman in January 2018. Tom’s professional experience began at a small public affairs shop on Capitol Hill during his high school years. Shortly after graduation, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as a Combat Engineer. He spent time stationed abroad in Okinawa, Japan, and served on deployment to Bangladesh, Korea, and Iraq, before leaving for Hunter College in New York City.
At Hunter, Tom majored in Media Studies and interned at Edelman’s Tech PR group in the summer of 2013 before joining the group full-time in January 2014. His PR experience spans a wide variety of verticals including eCommerce, fintech, alternative energy, and enterprise software.
Rebecca joined Wachsman in May 2018. Most recently, Rebecca served as an Account Manager for communications consultancy Portland, where she led a team in representing corporations, governments, and philanthropic organizations. Her previous clients include Carnegie Corporation of New York, Aviva, Toyota, and governments across four continents.
Prior to her time at Portland, Rebecca served as an Associate for strategic communications company Finsbury, which provided her with experience in reputation building, crisis management, media relations, and general communications planning across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Trinity College (CT) and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Marxe School of Public and International Relations at Baruch College, CUNY. She also studied leadership and strategy at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
Kerry joined Wachsman in February 2017 after several years of experience in financial journalism. She started her career as a reporter at MONEY, writing stories on personal finance topics, including real estate and investing, for the website and magazine.
While she was in graduate school, Kerry interned and later freelanced for the Mansion section of Wall Street Journal, where she delved into topics like luxury home amenities for pets and Lake Placid’s multi-million-dollar real estate market. She has also held internships at Forbes and Inc.com.
Kerry holds a master’s degree in Business and Economic reporting from New York University’s Journalism Institute. She also received a bachelor’s degree in Government and Spanish from Cornell University.
Tamani joined Wachsman in May 2018. Most recently, Tamani was the Associate Vice President of Strategic Communications on the client services team at Liberty Square Group. There, she specialized in developing messaging, media relations, and crisis communications strategies for clients across a broad range of industries including biotechnology, retail, nonprofit, and financial services, in addition to political campaigns.
Tamani previously worked with the Community Engagement team at Oxfam America to manage communications on behalf of the organization’s “Behind the Brands” campaign. She also interned with the marketing and communications department of Virtusa Corporation, writing copy for case studies, and with the production team at Young Asia Television.
Tamani holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Northeastern University.
Fiona joined Wachsman in September 2017, bringing a wealth of experience in delegate services, venue sourcing, transfer and accommodation management, supplier management, contract negotiation, and sponsorship coordination.
For more than four years, Fiona has planned and managed global, large-scale conference and events from San Francisco to Dubai. She previously held roles in event management agencies, working with clients in the corporate services, technology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Sociology from Trinity College, Dublin and a diploma in Experiential Event Marketing from Fitzwilliam Institute.
Maggee joined Wachsman in May 2018, bringing with her vast event management experience spanning the financial services, technology, and media industries. She specializes in vendor and third-party management, and creative strategy.
Maggee's event and conference management work as Director of Events of AFAR Media and as Associate Director of Events at Quartz was spread across four continents, most notably producing Quartz's global event series, "The Next Billion." Maggee’s portfolio also includes events planning for global organizations Barclays and Bloomberg.
Maggee holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and Public Relations from James Madison University.
Jana joined Wachsman in October 2017. She obtained her Bachelor of Psychology from Hofstra University, and during that time held HR roles at Bloomingdale’s and EMI Music.
Jana began her professional career as an HR Assistant for Winged Keel Group while earning her Master in Human Resource Management from Lubin School of Business at Pace University. After completing her postgraduate studies, Jana worked as an HR Coordinator at Perella Weinberg Partners, a boutique investment bank, before joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin law firm as a HR Generalist.
Liz joined Wachsman in January 2018. Prior to Wachsman, she worked on the Divisional HR team for Bank of Ireland after completing its graduate program.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Retail and Services Management from Dublin Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from the National College of Ireland.
Tyler joined Wachsman in February 2018 after working at SLA Executive Search, a firm focused predominantly on front office recruitment for financial services, and at Michael Page International. Before becoming a recruitment specialist, Tyler held roles as an Executive Assistant to CEOs and VPs at leading picture and film companies in New York.
Tyler graduated from Emory University, Goizueta Business School in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing and Media Management.
Renagh joined Wachsman in November 2017. Renagh began her career with New Ireland Assurance as an investments administrator, completing the Professional Diploma in Financial Advice. She then made the move to Bank of Ireland Group, working within the retail HR network as an Executive PA and Divisional HR Coordinator before moving into her first communications role with Bank of Ireland’s Core Banking Systems Program as a Communications Coordinator.
Renagh gained agency experience with Gibney Communications, where she provided support to leading brands such as KBC Bank Ireland, Chartered Accountants Ireland, and Grant Thornton.
Renagh holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a first-class honors Master of Science in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from Dublin City University.
Shira joined Wachsman in April 2018. Shira previously served as Communications Manager for Fundera, an online marketplace and advisor for small-business financing. There, she developed and executed content and media relations strategies to build the company's brand. Prior to joining Fundera in July 2016, Shira was an Account Executive on DKC's Public Affairs team, where she worked with foundations, advocacy organizations, and for-profit companies to advance their public policy goals through communications strategies. Shira graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Sociology.
Kemba joined Wachsman in April 2018. She previously held public relations and public affairs positions across a variety of industries including technology, science and medicine, higher education, finance, law, and nonprofits. Most recently, Kemba was a Communications Director leading technology startup clients at Waxman Strategies in Washington, D.C. There, she developed media strategies, coordinated events, and managed crisis communications for innovative startups in the transportation, human resources, and fintech sectors.
Kemba has also worked at PR agency Finn Partners in both the health and higher-education practice to develop institutional messaging and strategically position spokespersons, faculty research, and initiatives in top-tier media. Before joining Finn in 2015, she served as an Account Coordinator at 360 Public Relations, where she executed consumer-focused press outreach and social media campaigns.
Kemba holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Howard University with concentrations in Constitutional Law and Sociology.
Kayla joined Wachsman in May 2018, bringing a wealth of media, social media, and event management experience to the team. She previously led PR teams for a variety of consumer, sports, and lifestyle brands. Kayla's former clients include Mercedes-Benz USA, Proctor & Gamble, Nestlé Purina PetCare, Tempur Sealy, and Diageo.
Kayla graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a dual degree in Public Relations from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Policy Studies from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
Aubrey joined Wachsman in June 2017. Originally from the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, Aubrey graduated from New Mexico State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing. Aubrey reported and anchored for KRWG News22 broadcasting in New Mexico and West Texas, and was later selected as one of the top-20 reporters for the Fox News Junior Reporters Program at Fox News Channel Headquarters in New York.
After graduating from college, Aubrey interned at BerlinRosen, a national public affairs firm, where she began her career working with clients focused on philanthropy and cultural activism.
Dave joined Wachsman in June 2018. Dave previously served as Senior Account Executive for PR agency Derris, where he represented companies across a wide a range of industries including finance, sports, venture capital, and healthcare.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Government from Hamilton College.
Eoin joined Wachsman in June 2018. Most recently, Eoin served as Account Manager at technology-based PR agency Comit, where he represented a range of clients including data operator Equinix, cybersecurity provider Novi, and software company Esri Ireland. Prior to his time at Comit, he worked as Training and Policy Lead at Google Maps.
Eoin received a Master of Arts in Journalism and Digital Media from Independent College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with honors in French and German from Trinity College, Dublin. He also received a certificate in PR Account Management from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
Reid joined Wachsman in July 2017. Reid’s professional work began as an intern on Capitol Hill and at premier communications firms GPG and HPS. His communications work spanned a range of public policy campaigns for financial institutions and the healthcare industry.
As a Strategy Associate, Reid helps to guide projects and companies through complicated landscapes.
Daryl joined Wachsman in July 2018. Previously, Daryl worked as a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney, where he advised senior executives on top strategic and operational issues. His work with leading global companies included advisory for growth, go-to-market initiatives, and digital business strategy and transformation.
Prior to A.T. Kearney, Daryl worked as a Strategy Intern at DigitasLBI and a Private Equity Intern at a Iron Range Capital Partners.
Daryl received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors at the University of Chicago.
Derek joined Wachsman in January 2018 after six years as an options broker on the New York Stock Exchange. Derek worked for three years each at NYSE-AMEX in New York and NYSE-ARCA in San Francisco, executing trades for clients ranging from broker-dealers, to banks, to hedge funds.
Derek graduated from Fordham University in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Derek holds three financial industry certifications: Series 7, Series 56, and Series 63.
Taylor joined Wachsman in February 2018. After growing up in the United States, Taylor pursued her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Europe. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from The University of Edinburgh, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Finance from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
Taylor previously worked as a Business Analyst for Centric Consulting and a Consultant for Vonzu, an IT and Logistics startup. Taylor also has volunteering experience at Edinburgh's Research and Cancer Trust and the Erasmus Student Network in Spain.
Taylor is fluent in English and French.
Sean joined Wachsman in June 2018. Most recently, Sean served as a Business Development Executive for financial services company Finastra, formerly Misys. Prior to joining Finastra, Sean worked as a Financial Officer for education management company Language in Group, where he established and audited accounting systems, as well as assisted in setting marketing and sales targets.
Sean received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University College, Dublin as well as a Master of Science in International Management from Trinity College, Dublin.
He is fluent in French.
Lorna joined Wachsman in April 2018, having previously worked for leading card payment service provider EVO Payments International. Lorna specializes in the creation of integrated campaigns that incorporate digital and traditional marketing. She has managed campaigns for leading brands across international markets.
Lorna recently completed a master’s degree in Digital Marketing at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Dublin, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Languages from Dublin City University.
Lorna is fluent in English and Spanish.
Sarah joined Wachsman in May 2017 as an Account Coordinator and was promoted to Account Executive in January 2018. Sarah has supported some of the leading blockchain projects in the industry and represented several clients at top industry events across Europe.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Dublin City University and a postgraduate diploma in Public Relations and Event Management from Fitzwilliam Institute..
Tom joined Wachsman in July 2017. A San Francisco native, Tom moved to Ireland after serving as the Director of Operations on Kimberly Ellis’s campaign for California Democratic Chair, where he gained invaluable experience in political media relations and public policy research.
Tom graduated from Santa Clara University in March of 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During his studies, Tom interned in the media relations office of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara. In addition, Tom served as the Managing Editor for the opinion section of the university’s weekly newspaper.
In February 2018, Tom transferred to the Wachsman New York office as an Account Executive.
Devin joined Wachsman in July 2017 as an Account Coordinator and was promoted to Account Executive in December 2017.
Devin interned at the Connecticut Food Association, a nonprofit statewide trade association for the grocery and food distribution industry, and The Chamber Group, a New York-based public relations firm in the entertainment industry.
Devin graduated from Trinity College, Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Amanda joined Wachsman in August 2017 after graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she majored in public relations and minored in marketing and psychology. While at Syracuse, Amanda interned at the Burton Blatt Institute, an organization that aims to advance the civic, economic, and social participation of persons with disabilities.
Previously, Amanda interned at Discovery Communications in the corporate communications department. There, she assisted in the creation of a communications strategy for Discovery’s Digital Networks, Seeker, and SourceFed. She was also the PR and social media intern at Altitude Marketing, a B2B agency based in Pennsylvania.
Gavin joined Wachsman in August 2017 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Trinity College, Dublin. While at university, Gavin achieved a Certificat en Sciences Sociales et Humanités from the Paris Institute of Political Studies.
His previous work experience focused on academic research, subcontracting for the Department of Economics at Trinity College, Dublin on the Historical House Prices in America project.
Gavin is fluent in English and French.
Lorcan joined Wachsman in January 2018. Prior to joining the team, Lorcan served as a Communications and Corporate Affairs Executive with Ibec, Ireland’s largest employers’ representative body, before relocating to Denver, Colorado to work with the HLK advertising agency. Since returning to Dublin, Lorcan has worked with Dairy Industry Ireland, one of Ibec’s sector associations.
Lorcan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin, as well as a master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Ulster University.
Eddie joined Wachsman in February 2018 to combine his expertise in strategic communications with an early interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
Prior to joining Wachsman, Eddie worked with leading brands in the beer, wine, and spirits industries for public relations agencies M Booth and Magrino.
Eddie graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations in 2014.
Rebecca joined in March 2018 after graduating from the University of Limerick with a degree in Journalism and New Media. She worked as a news journalist at both local and national levels for publications such as The Irish Examiner, The Munster Express, and The Galway Independent. Rebecca has also worked in a public relations and content creation role with a marketing agency.
Deirdre joined Wachsman in April 2018. Previously, Deirdre served as an Account Executive at Portland Communications in London, researching and developing communications campaigns for governments and internationally recognized brands.
Deirdre first garnered experience in communications by working as a Research Assistant on the Journalistic Representations of Jeremy Corbyn in the British Press Project for the London School of Economics.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Trinity College, Dublin and a Master of Science in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics.
George joined Wachsman in November 2017. Originally from Wicklow in Ireland, George joined Wachsman’s New York team following a position in the Business Change department of an FTSE 100 retailer in London. Prior to this, George worked at a technology startup, creating content, handling social media accounts, and executing usability testing for the company’s mobile app.
George is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin where he studied Computer Science and Business. During his studies, George worked on several software development projects including an iOS app which enabled students to buy tickets for local events at reduced rates. George is also involved with an Irish cancer support charity, maintaining its online and social media presence.
Maud joined Wachsman in April 2018. She previously served as an Account Executive at multi-award winning consumer public relations agency Fever PR. With experience in media relations, social media management, content creation, and event management, Maud has worked with industry leaders across the consumer technology, entertainment, lifestyle, and health sectors. Her previous clients include PlayStation UK, NOW TV, and Aptaclub.
Maud embarked on her career in public relations at the Football Association of Ireland, working with the communications team ahead of the 2016 UEFA EURO Championship and the launch of the SSE Airtricity League.
Upon graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology's Master of Arts in Public Relations program with first-class honors, the Public Relations Institute of Ireland named Maud the "Best Overall Student 2015/ 2016" and Heneghan PR awarded her "Best writer on course MA Public Relations 2015/ 2016". Maud also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Dublin City University.
Rachel joined Wachsman in April 2018. Rachel began her career in public relations at strategic communications firm ICR, where she specialized in media relations for financial and professional services clients. At ICR, Rachel helped to develop strategic communications plans for a wide array of organizations, including a cryptocurrency exchange, a fintech company, an investment bank, a law firm, and a private equity firm.
Rachel graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Kelsey joined Wachsman in May 2018. Prior to joining Wachsman, Kelsey worked with leading companies in the consumer, technology, and nonprofit sectors for the nation’s largest communications marketing firm Edelman. Her previous clients include TJX, The International Rescue Committee, Octo Telematics, Urban Outfitters, NYU, and Pepsico. She has also held roles in fundraising and event planning for the largest affordable housing and community development organization Enterprise Community Partners.
Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies from Lafayette College.
Edel joined Waschman in April 2018, having previously served as an Account Executive at Q4 Public Relations. Edel’s experience working on integrated communications campaigns spans the consumer, corporate, technology, health, and beverage sectors. Her previous clients include Coca Cola, Bank of Ireland, Just Eat, Diageo Ireland, and Beacon Hospital.
While completing her master’s degree, Edel interned for creative agency Yellow Machine, where she assisted in executing public relations, events, digital, and social media strategies.
Edel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Culture and Society from Dublin City University, as well as a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Tori joined Wachsman in December 2017. Tori graduated from Rutgers University with a dual degree in Communication and Psychology, with a specialization in Public Relations. While in college, she interned for a variety of PR departments including NBCUniversal, Viacom, Dunkin’ Donuts, Roc Nation, and also founded Rutgers’ first student-run PR agency.
Tori started her career at AwesomenessTV, a global multi-platform media company, working in international distribution and business development before working for a boutique PR agency in New York City.
Rita joined Wachsman in May 2018. She previously worked on public affairs campaigns at DCI Group in Washington, D.C.
Rita graduated from Marist College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a minor in Criminal Justice, and a Paralegal Certificate. She also holds a Master of Arts in Forensic and Legal Psychology from Marymount University.
Joe joined Wachsman in June 2018. Most recently, Joe served as Account Executive at River Communications, where he represented clients in both the financial services and commercial real estate industries. He also carries experience in journalism, having spent time as a Production Assistant for NBC10 as well as an Editorial Intern for Philadelphia Magazine.
Joe received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University.
Meghan joined Wachsman in August 2018. Previously, Meghan worked as an Assistant Account Executive for PR agency FleishmanHillard. She also interned for publishing company Rodale, where she coordinated PR efforts for both Women's Health and Men's Health magazines.
Meghan received a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Communication, from Rockhurst University.
Pallavi joined Wachsman in February 2018. Pallavi’s event management experience spans corporate, tertiary, and public sectors. Pallavi began her career volunteering at exhibitions and events across Australia, before interning for a Sydney-based agency. Subsequently, she joined the marketing department of one of the country’s leading technology universities, managing a team of 40 to deliver more than 500 brand awareness and customer engagement corporate programs and events.
Pallavi holds a Bachelor of Management from the University of Technology, Sydney and a diploma in Business Marketing from Macleay College.
Alexandra joined Wachsman in February 2018. Originally from Arizona, Alexandra moved to California after college and founded an event-planning company, producing corporate and private events throughout Southern California. She later moved to New York, where she worked at an experiential brand marketing agency responsible for managing and producing Google’s largest B2B and B2C events and conferences.
Alexandra graduated from Vanderbilt University with dual degrees in Child Development and Art History.
Tara joined Wachsman in May 2018. Prior to joining Wachsman, Tara was a Project Coordinator for global event management agency MCI. There, she specialized in event production and destination management.
Tara has a strong track record of working closely with her clients to create exceptional experiences, from intimate meetups and incentive trips, to large-scale launches and conferences. Tara’s client portfolio spans the financial services, technology, and pharmaceutical industries.
Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Television, Radio, and New Media Broadcasting as well as a diploma in Event Management and Public Relations from Fitzwilliam Institute.
Felicia joined Wachsman in May 2018. Felicia began her career in the fashion industry, working on public relations and events for a luxury watch and jewelry company. Her next role was in events and marketing at one of the largest travel companies in the world, where she developed an events program for their U.S. retail teams. In her past experience with events, she has managed and produced press conferences, expositions, and trade shows that spanned throughout the United States as well as internationally.
Felicia holds a Bachelor of Arts of Communication and Public Relations from Kean University.
Aaron joined Wachsman in July 2018. Most recently, Aaron worked as a Private Events Coordinator at Union Square Hospitality Group, where he assisted in tailoring events for clients, including private dinners, retreats, and corporate conferences.
Prior to his time at Union Square Hospitality Group, Aaron worked as a Public Relations Associate for CV Properties. There, he oversaw branding initiatives and led event production strategy for commercial development projects across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Aaron received a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies from Gettysburg College.
Josh joined Wachsman in July 2018. Most recently, Josh served as Senior Associate at Gerson Lehrman Group, where he worked with consulting and accountancy firms on due diligence projects based in Europe, Israel, and Turkey. He also worked as a Senior Promotion’s Assistant and Main M.C. for Radio Disney. There, he was involved with planning and hosting events for the radio station, as well as for Disney’s partner companies and subsidiaries, including Microsoft, Boeing, ESPN, Seattle Sounders FC, and the Seattle Seahawks. Josh also served in the U.S. Armed Forces for six years, deploying to Afghanistan in 2011.
Josh received a Bachelors of Arts in both Linguistics and Cultural Studies, and French and Francophone Studies from Seattle Pacific University, as well as a Master of Science in Management from Trinity College, Dublin.
Josh is fluent in English, Catalan, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
David joined Wachsman in September 2017. Originally from Ireland, David completed a summer internship with Wachsman’s Dublin branch before taking up the Strategy Analyst position in the New York office.
David previously worked for marketing firm Grid53, implementing strategic marketing campaigns for high-profile clients. David holds a dual degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin. During his time there, he managed the marketing and public relations strategies for the college’s most successful radio program.
Adam joined Wachsman in October 2017. Adam graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2016 with a Master of Arts in International Relations. As a student, Adam was the National Youth President of the United Nations Association: U.K., serving as a board trustee and overseeing the activities of more than 40 individual college branches. Adam interned at several law offices and at Jamestown Associates, a leading U.S. political consulting firm.
Following graduation, Adam moved to Berlin to train at LHBS, a consulting firm specializing in business, brand, and marketing innovation. Returning to the United States, Adam joined Pollie-winning media agency NJI Media, where he gained experience in the fields of digital communications, web development, user experience, and brand design. As a member of the strategy team, Adam supported client accounts and helped coordinate the production and development teams as the firm redesigned the websites of several international NGOs and D.C.-based advocacy groups.
Kirstyn joined Wachsman in November 2017. Kirstyn graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2015 with a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. During her studies, she worked full-time in finance within the wealth management and charity and endowment sectors.
Prior to joining Wachsman’s Dublin team, Kirstyn moved to Ireland to be a researcher at PSG, one of the largest PR agencies in Dublin, working across the consumer public relations teams.
Allison joined Wachsman in December 2017 after earning her Bachelor of Science with honors from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Information Management and Technology.
Allison interned at several companies including LRL Group, OpenSky, and Gotham Steel. During these internships, Allison supported the public relations strategy and execution for Sears and the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Anna joined Wachsman in February 2018 after interning at a New York-based PR and business development agency specialized in technology startups.
A Commerce and Chinese graduate from University College Dublin, Anna spent a year in China, studying Mandarin at Renmin University in Beijing and International Business at Shanghai’s Jiao Tong University.
Meave joined Wachsman in February 2018 after working as a Content Reviewer with Accenture at Google, as a European Commission Blue Book Trainee in DG Communication, and as a Marketing and Events Coordinator with the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland.
Meave holds a Master of Arts joint honors degree in French and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Philosophy in European Studies from Trinity College, Dublin.
Kimberly joined Wachsman in May 2018. Kimberly previously served as an Assistant Publicist for 42West, the largest independently-owned PR agency in the entertainment industry. As the main assistant on numerous film accounts, Kimberly was responsible for circulating media engagements, generating status reports, and coordinating with production studios such as STX, Focus Features, CBS Films, Global Road, and GKIDS.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Hartford.
Stephanie joined Wachsman in May 2018. Most recently, Stephanie interned for PR firms DBL.E Communications and Zazil Media Group. There, she assisted with pitching to media and helped to coordinate external events for clients.
Stephanie received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Media, Culture, and Communications from the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
Chelsea joined Wachsman in February 2018 as an intern and was promoted to Account Coordinator in April 2018.
Chelsea is graduating from Pace University (NYC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, with a minor in Pre-law and Sociology.
Prior to Wachsman, Chelsea interned at a boutique public relations agency specializing in consumer products and also studied abroad in Italy at the Florence University of the Arts.
Kelsey joined Wachsman in May 2018. She was previously a PR and Sales Freelancer for renowned womenswear designer Christian Siriano and a Junior Account Manager at lifestyle agency Purple PR. Her former clients include Lancôme, Boscia, Natura Bissé, RMS Beauty, and Lanolips.
Kelsey received a Master of Professional Science in Fashion Marketing from LIM College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Scranton.
Maya joined Wachsman in June 2018. Most recently, Maya served as an intern for global PR firm Burson-Marsteller, where she assisted in creating and organizing content for the company’s website and social media channels. She has also interned in the Communications office of multinational oil company BP, where she worked directly with the internal communications team to organize company documents and legal briefings.
Maya received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University. During her time in college, she served as the Director of Communications for the Undergraduate Student Government and held leadership roles in The Daily Princetonian.
Sarah joined Wachsman in June 2018. Previously, Sarah interned for Marc Fisher Footwear, where she assisted in creating communications and social media strategies for shoe brands. She also interned for PR agency JONESWORKS, where she supported day-to-day PR initiatives.
Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Maryland.
Fiona joined Wachsman in July 2018. Previously, Fiona worked as a Public Affairs Intern at consulting firm SKDKnickerbocker, where she supported PR efforts for political and nonprofit campaigns. She also served as a Press Intern for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she fielded calls from news outlets and monitored media coverage.
Foina received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Gender Studies from Marist College.
Emma joined Wachsman in July 2018. Most recently, Emma worked as an Account Executive for a student-run PR firm PRowl Public Relations. There, Emma helped to coordinate hiring campaigns and develop content for the company’s blog.
Emma received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Strategic Communications from Temple University.
Cara joined Wachsman in July 2018. Most recently, Cara worked at student-run PR agency PRLab, where she led a team of four in representing and developing content for clients. Previously, Cara interned for Eric Mower and Associates, The Sydney Royal Easter Show, and The Thousand Islands Land Trust, where she gained experience in media relations and event planning.
Cara received a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Boston University.
Nicola joined Wachsman in June 2018 as a PR Intern and was promoted to Account Coordinator in August 2018.
Nicola received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geography with first-class honors from the University College, Dublin.
Nicola previously interned as a Public Relations Officer for the University College, Dublin’s Lacrosse Club, where she assisted in social media management and content creation.
Destin joined Wachsman in November 2017 after graduating from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Event Management. During his third year at St. John’s, Destin made his shift to the events industry where he managed events and experiences for nonprofits and commercial organizations including Amazon, MAC Cosmetics, and Swarovski.
Mark joined Wachsman in January 2018. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Exercise Management from University College Dublin and a postgraduate diploma in Event Management and Public Relations from Fitzwilliam Institute.
Mark’s event management experience spans sports, fundraising, and charities like Make a Wish, Suicide or Survive, and Chernobyl’s Children’s Trust.
Ashley joined Wachsman in March 2018. Ashley graduated from Syracuse University in May 2017 with degrees in Finance and Marketing. She interned with companies Bunk1.com, the Skimm, and Marketers Anonymous, which provided her with substantive experience in B2C marketing. Ashley also worked as a VIP Assistant at Live Nation, where she organized large-scale events for artists.
Ashley is fluent in English and Hebrew.
Aine joined Wachsman in May 2018. Aine previously served as Sales and Network Coordinator of Renault Ireland, where she executed small and large-scale corporate and marketing events. Prior to her time at Renault Ireland, Aine worked as Area Sales Manager for Findlater Wine and Spirits Group, which provided her with valuable experience in brand and account management.
While completing her bachelor’s degree, Aine interned for MindMap Communications — a position that later culminated in a promotion to Account Executive.
Aine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Dublin Institute of Technology and a postgraduate diploma in Event Management and Public Relations from Fitzwilliam Institute.
Matt joined Wachsman in March 2018. He previously served as Editorial Coordinator of the Association of Corporate Counsel, working as a primary contributor for the award-winning legal publication ACC Docket.
Matt specializes in research-based writing and has experience creating targeted content for editorials on a wide variety of blockchain, cryptocurrency, legal, and financial topics.
Matt graduated cum laude from Boston University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in International Relations.
Hanna joined Wachsman in September 2017 as Executive Assistant for David Wachsman. Hanna graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a master’s degree in Professional Communication and Media Studies. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications with a minor in Business while on an athletic scholarship for participation in NCAA Division 1 Fencing.
Since graduation, Hanna has worked in a number of communications roles between New York and Miami, including Marketing Manager for an Olympic Fencing Club and Gallery Director of a contemporary art gallery.
Jamie joined Wachsman in September 2017. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dublin Business School in 2013, Jamie moved abroad to Italy and then Paris, where she lived for a year and a half.
Since moving back to Ireland, Jamie has worked for Squarespace and Intercom and built a career coaching business across 2014 to 2016.
Latoya joined Wachsman in March 2018 after earning a master’s degree in Branding and Integrated Communications from the City College of New York and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University.
During her studies, Latoya held support roles at a number of communications agencies where she gained experience in public relations, brand marketing, and event planning.
Celina joined Wachsman in June 2018. Previously, Celina worked as a Healthcare Recruiter for Green Key Resources, where she supported the company in sourcing and qualifying candidates for both temporary and permanent roles.
Celina received a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Professional Communications from University of Pittsburgh, with a Certificate in Corporate and Community Relations.
Mai joined Wachsman in July 2018. Most recently, Mai interned at Pyramid Consulting Group, where she assisted in staff onboarding coordination, candidate sourcing, and resume administration.
Mai received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University.
Diana joined Wachsman in June 2018 as a PR Intern.
Diana is on track to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Global Business, a dual-degree split between Dublin City University and Brock University, Ontario, in 2020. She is also a graduate of the Washington Ireland Program.
Diana previously worked as an Intern for the Spring Insight Program at Citi, as well as an Impact Intern for Social Entrepreneurs Ireland.
Isabelle joined Wachsman in June 2018 as a PR Intern.
Isabelle will be graduating from Fordham University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Business and a concentration in Marketing from the Gabelli School of Business Honors Program.
Isabelle previously interned for production companies LR Paris and Prime Studio Inc.
Zoe joined Wachsman in July 2018 as a PR intern.
Zoe is on track to graduate from Trinity College, Dublin in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Studies in both Business and French.
Zoe was previously an Advisory Intern for professional services firm KPMG. She recently returned from an exchange program in Grenoble, France, where she served as a Community Manager of GemStore, the college’s business society.
Parker joined Wachsman in May 2018 as a Strategy Intern.
Parker is on track to graduate from Cornell University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Parker previously interned for industrial engineering company Howard J Moore Co.
Sara joined Waschman in June 2018 as a Marketing Intern.
Sara is on track to graduate from the University of Verona in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
Sara recently completed the European Erasmus Exchange Program, where she studied Marketing and Finance at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
